Promoting wellbeing inside and outside your company. Since last June, Hydro Ware S.r.l. has been a Benefit Corporation, an evolution of the business concept: alongside the for-profit aims, its corporate purpose now includes the goal of having a positive impact on society and the biosphere. Indeed, a Benefit Corporation voluntarily pursues one or more common benefit aims, aspiring, in its activities, to create positive effects for people, communities, territories and the environment, cultural and social heritage and activities, organisations and associations. A project that is shared by Hydro Ware\u2019s employees who work in a responsible, sustainable and transparent way to pursue this goal.<\/p>\n

B Corps in Italy<\/strong><\/h6>\n

In January 2016, Italy was the first country in Europe and the first in the world outside the USA (where the legal form of Benefit Corporation, equivalent to the Italian Societ\u00e0 Benefit<\/em>, was created in 2010) to introduce the concept of Benefit Corporation to allow entrepreneurs, managers, shareholders and investors to protect the company\u2019s mission and stand out from all the other companies on the market thanks to this virtuous and innovative legal status. B Corps are not Social Enterprises or an evolution of Non-Profit ones, but a positive transformation of the dominant for-profit business models to make them more suitable for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Hydro Ware SB\u2019s goals for 2023<\/strong><\/h6>\n

With its transformation into a Benefit Corporation, Hydro Ware defines its common benefit aims in four key areas: wellbeing through the quality of the product supplied; cooperation with local organisations; environmental sustainability; and internal partnerships. \u201cThe journey has just begun and over time we will continue to analyse our work, identify possible areas for improvement, redefine our goals and pursue them with enthusiasm,\u201d explains Hydro Ware.<\/p>\n

Promoting wellbeing<\/strong><\/h6>\n

Promoting wellbeing in the workplace, for both the company and its customers, through the sale and care of plants that offer health and productivity benefits, using natural plant care methods, lies at the heart of Hydro Ware SB\u2019s activities.<\/p>\n

Environmental and social sustainability<\/strong><\/h6>\n

This also means continuous improvement to achieve the environmental and social sustainability of the company\u2019s processes and practices, primarily by pursuing energy efficiency and the reduction of emissions generated through continuous monitoring of its carbon footprint. But that\u2019s not all: Hydro Ware aspires to create an ethical, positive and inclusive working climate for employees, protecting their rights and duties, safety, training, recognition of merit and the adoption of work-life balance measures.<\/p>\n

New projects in the local community where Hydro Ware operates<\/strong><\/h6>\n

Inside and outside the company: the aim is to contribute to caring for the common good in the areas where Hydro Ware is present. This is achieved by developing and supporting projects with a social, educational and environmental impact, including ones developed jointly with other parties with whom the company interacts and that have a similar purpose.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
