Hydro Ware worked on a project to furnish the common areas of a large building in Milan: meeting rooms, shared showroom area, wide corridors.

Here, plants are not just decorative or furnishing elements, they become functional tools to delimit and separate the spaces.

Hydro Ware offered specialised advice to the building architects, incorporating mobile wood and iron planters, ideal for inserting calming, broad-leaved hydroponic plants.

The result exalts the design, improves comfort and promotes interaction between the people and the environment they live and work in.

Benefits

The hydroponic plants chosen improve the indoor micro-climate by naturally regulating the humidity. They also make the spaces more liveable and healthier by reducing noise, optical and electromagnetic pollution, capturing fine particles and filtering other harmful substances.

Care and maintenance

The plants used in the project were chosen for aesthetic and design reasons, as they are able to lend volume to the spaces, creating a soft but clearly defined separation between them. They are also hardy plants that can thrive also in artificial light and can be watered according to the gauge inserted in the pot.
