Green furnishing for food courts, public and commercial spaces
The project included the installation of large tanks for hydroponic plants near the seats in the food courts.
Trees up to 3.5 metres high and, in some cases, vertical green walls were positioned in the large spaces of the mall to fill the environment.
The heart of the project was the light, temperature, ventilation and acoustics of the spaces.
Ficus Lyrata Branched and Dracaena Surculosa.
Philodendron Scandens and Schefflera Arboricola for the green walls.
The hydroponic plants chosen embellish the large surface areas and high ceilings, improving the visual and acoustic comfort of people using the spaces. They also filter harmful substances, capturing fine particles and reducing electromagnetic pollution.
Robust plants that can live with artificial light or in dimly lit spaces have been chosen. They are hardy plants, to be watered according to the gauge inserted in the pot. We check the health of the plant on a monthly basis, removing dry leaves, pruning, fertilising and cleaning the leaves.
